Day trading is hard. It is not for everyone. For those that have a knack for it, they can outperform the other averages hands down. Who says I don’t have a knowledge of the companies I trade? Ceo’s lie, Boards lie, people lie, Analysts are just plain useless, PRICE NEVER LIES (ie, charts).
Ya, and some people win in roulette. You can’t play the stock market without knowledge of the companies you are dealing with. Looking at charts is NOT enough.
S and P over 10 years is now flat. Even. No change. Day trading has been just fine to us both over the last 10 years. So that is all I can say to that.
how are those nibbles working out for you? I can’t help but think that day trading is like playing roulette with a +8% per year expected value… waste of time…
LOL, i did great futures today, if you care
Learned a lot from you guys

I’ve been watching your videos for awhile..and have started using trade-ideas…can you share what scanning criteria you are using for longing stocks? thanks, Leon
I always have a 5 minutes chart going back a few days of the SPY and the QQQQ on the right side, I also have news and many alert windows scanning the mkt. The charts you see are always a look at the daily (bottom) and a 5 minute chart going back 1 or 2 days looking at support and resistance levels.
thanks for watching
Steve; Looking at the left monitor setup you have two charts on top of one another. Top shows a two day to a stock and the bottom is what? SPy or QQQQ or a longer period of the same stock? What do you use the right monitor for? Thank You; Scott
Great stuff. thanks.
