There is a recurring question amongst UK traders about whether they should trade spot forex or whether they should go with spread betting. Review of PaddyPower Financial Spread Betting
In this article I’m going to review PaddyPower’s financial spread betting offering which I believe to be part of the London Capital Group’s spread betting network – although they use own front-end. Both groups presumably offer the same products / spreads but I trust that Irish people prefer to go with PaddyPower.

Spread Betting Comparison: IG Index versus ETX Capital
IG Index were the first spread betting provider to launch many years ago. They still lead by market share and have the best trading platform – overall and also offer PDA, mobile and iPhone dealing. The real question is why choose ETX Capital? Perhaps because they have better spreads on some markets?

We have finally broken the 88 dollar a barrell mark and touched the 89 range. Crude is headed higher and possibly to 90 before 2011. The employment report was a downer today with unemployment expanding to 4.8 (for more detail on this report visit bloomberg.com). However with this report being negative it implies a positive. The Fed has to increase QE2 to keep this economy afloat. The positive of it is that the government in my opinion want to keep America number one and producing.
